Shamila is wearing everything bought locally. She's had her jumpsuit for years. Her glasses are Marc by Marc Jacobs.
I've been coming to St Lucia all my life but it's only until this past trip or so that I've paid attention to Caribbean street style - specifically the women. To be honest the local style here hasn't really changed. It's very casual and actually pretty form fitting (read body con). Shamila stood out for wearing a loose billowy opposite that skims.
Why I love it:
If I'm going to pack for warm weather or am updating for spring, a jumpsuit is in there somewhere. Like dresses, you fling it on and go - no faffing around. I thought the cornflower blue was spot on with brown leather accents.
ps. Thx Shamila for stopping for me. I know that shooting street style is pretty much unheard of on the island.
