Here are photos showing some of what I am wearing while here.

Even though I was born and raised in London,  my origins are St Lucian and I have been visiting the island since I was a girl.

Like any tropical island, wearing anything loose, light and bright are life savers.

Pic 1: Tribal and snake print shirts and kaftans.
Pic 2 & 3:  Lace: dresses (1st one is from here), sheer blouses, crochet + cropped tops.
Pic 4:  Denim + cotton shorts
Pic 5:  Neon backpack, cloth + leather bags
Pic 6:  My jewellery

ps. I’ll announce the two winners of last Friday’s Chevy Malibu x Isaac Mizrahi post by the end of the day in this post!    The 2 winners for the giveaway are:

Monroe Steele & Elmo. Congratulations! Emails have been sent to both.

Similars to what I packed:

Love the Caribbean feel! Identify closely born and raised in London with Jamaican parents.

We were in St Lucia earlier this year and I still talk about it to anyone that cares to listen. We had a car so we explored so much of the island – though my favourite memory was climbing up Gros Piton – so intense yet exhilarating, especially to the non-hiker like me.

Can’t wait to see more pictures of your paradise home Karen! Happy holidays!

I have that same exact beaded leather bracelet. I bought it in the 90s and rediscovered it recently. I love it with my denim shirts and gold watch.

Thanks for sharing this! I’m also a native city girl but have spent a good chunk of my life growing up in the caribbean, and your wardrobe is gorgeous in either terrain. I will probably reference this when I go to South Africa in a few weeks!

Have some fun in the sun, Karen!
NYC is a frigid ice box right now.
