I’m getting more into this retro mod thing.  I wore this mix of blues and greens with an Anne Klein Rose Goldtone Bracelet watch.   It’s vintag-ey enough with an oversized face and skinny roman numerals to feel a bit old school.

After these pics were taken, I swapped my jewelry for gold and rose golds instead (see last close up pic).  Michael and I popped home before we headed out again so I grabbed the chance to do the jewelry switch.  I don’t usually wrist stack but thought the golds worked better with the watch hence the bracelet and slight ring pile on.  Figured it was an easy way to add focus.

I know I’m not the only one to march back indoors and clothes tweak.

So thanks to you i’m not obsessed with mens sweaters, since i’m plus it’s hard to find a good womens sweater that fits well. So i went to the thrift store and brought about six sweaters and now i’ve been finding cool stuff in the mens h&m section. This might have been the best advice i’ve taken!

Outfit tweaking!! I was just about to do a post about that myself because on Friday my outfit slowly evolved over the course of the day!! Such great pants and shoes… And, of course, amazing blue leather jacket. Love the watch, too.

    Hi,

This outfit is perfection – I just love the way you mix these leather jackets and take them away from the motorcycling stigma… By the way I got myself a new one and it is so cute (http://eboutique.maje.com/eboutique-maje/ah12/vestes/veste-marron-marron/produit-fiche,12,34,673810#)I’ll soon post pics, the colour is hard to coordinate they say it’s brown it’s more like greyish/khaki/brownish – impossible to find shoes to match it 🙁 however any excuse to shop some more 🙂 Please feel free to suggest to me any items you think it might go with.

Wow, love your outfit, the colors are electric ! I actually tried on the women’s version of the h&m green lurex sweater but thought it fit too tight. But thanks for sharing the men’s version, I’ll go check it out !!

I have been reading your blog for 2 years now and I must say this is my favorite look so far. The blue leather jacket is to-die-for and the watch over the sweater is such a smart idea. Thank you so much, Karen for being a constant inspiration and fashion idol for this girl in a VERY small town in Ohio.
