With so many coat images flying around right now, this is kind of how I'm feeling about Autumn/Winter. A big shaggy coat and big glasses to hide behind and that's it.
This one was sent to me months ago from a dear friend's wife from Australia. I didn't know that it was coming and she somehow guessed that I'm obsessed with Penny Lane in the film 'Almost Famous.' She was correct.
Are you obsessed with a coat at the moment? I swear that the more you look, the harder it gets to stay focused.
Whatever you pick, promise me you'll first check vintage before getting a coat from the high street? Right now is the best time to look before the best stuff is gone.

most of my coats came from thrift stores/ vintage racks. i am OBSESSED with my furs. and i just recently got a red leather jacket that i've been wearing with everything. even if it's almost eighty out. eff the weather!

ReplyDeleteFunny you post this, I've been searching for a fur coat that fits my silhouette. Found a beautiful white rabbit fur waist length coat this past weekend, but the shoulders were a bit to puffy. Sigh...the search continues. BTW, I live in Brooklyn, and the stores I visit have the best stuff (and cheap too. As low as 30 buckaroos at times) lol!

Funny you post this, I've been searching for the perfect fur coat the past couple of weeks. Actually found a waist length white fur rabbit coat recently, unfortunately the shoulders where a bit puffy. Sigh...the search continues. bTW, I live in BK, and I swear they have a ridiculous selection (at times as low as 30 buckaroos). lol!
