Then these popped up on Yoox. I literally did this :- O I thought Chloe stopped making these so where the eff did these come from?? There's more from that old season: these and lower versions.
You stop looking. It turns up. Even if it's years later.
This must have happened to you. Clothes or men, the principal is the same I've noticed.
This happened to me once (with shoes) in the clearance aisle of Nordstrom rack. The "ones that got away" found me:)
