Early morning preparations at The Carlyle Hotel.
Starting at 5am yesterday morning, this was the most intimate hair & make up session that I have attend all week (making it 10 x easier to shoot). I watched models hair twisted into perfect chignons and ponytails. The Row created by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (the latter in picture #7) really is about modern luxury.
There are very few high end brands for affluent customers that appeal to me. This one consistently creates collections that do. In addition to the clothes, the croc bag in picture # 8 was carried into the room by Mary Kate Olsen. It’s a sample from The Row (yes I asked her). Natrually it’s been on my mind ever since. Amazing how those two transformed themselves. Just ten years ago, they were twelve year olds idols, and now they make clothing for any age. The stuff is way beyond their years, and I respect these girls so much for figuring out their real passions and pursuing them.
