Chloe Susan Boots

The one that got away...

Photos via Bohemian Waltz

Always loved the Chloe Susan boots since they came out in Pre-Fall 2008.   Now they are back.

It's a sign.

Anyone still thinking about the one that got away for 2011 or even earlier? that one item you wished you had got when it was available and now it's gone?  Jenn and I have been discussing this at length the past few weeks.

Let me know what you still wished you had got when it was out but now it's gone.

  2. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not grabbing these baby soft navy leather Lanvin dream shoes with a lucite wedge.....

on sale for about 75% off at the Barneys Outlet.....

in my size that I said I would go back for but never did. Love these boots though

  3. I usually kick myself when I'm shopping at thrift stores, I let so many pieces go to try and curb the spending and they are always the ones I end up dreaming about that night, I go back and they;re gone. ARGH.

  5. I love those boots! I wish I had the money for them. But I definitely know what you mean when you say "the one that got away". I went thrifting with a friend one time (and this is back in June). Anyway we came across these really great purple-blue-yellowy paisley printed harem pants that were just a dollar; I'd seen them before. She ended up buying them and since then, I can't stop thinking about them! Maybe I could borrow them from her for an extended time, haha. Happy new year, btw!

  10. Amazing boots! One item I can think of that got away would be a white Aryn K mxi dress with side cut-outs. It was cheap. I should have just picked it up immediately.

  12. The most perfect pristine designer cat eye sunglasses that rivaled Nicole Richie's House of Harlow sunglasses, spotted at the flea market. The vendor only wanted $3. Forgot my wallet in the car. Told her hold them I'll be right back! When I came back she was nonchalant in telling me someone must have stolen them off the table. Never got over it :(

  17. Heart these boots!! :) My ULTIMATE "the one that got way" is this amazing Alexander McQueen Dress from his 2007 spring/summer collection "Sarabande" - it's a black lace dress that has a Spanish inspiration to it (look #20 on the runway). They had it on gilt.com and I DID. NOT. GET. IT. UGH!!! The price wasn't exactly a "steal", but still, for a McQueen piece, it pretty much was. Now I am forever stalking the dress...

  21. Yes ! I absolutely know what you mean about "the one that got away", I was so in love with marc jacob's revisisted neon tweed jacket from 2010 but sadly I couldn't afford it, even after the net-a-porter sales. But now I still think about it and I think that I could have made an effort to buy it at that time. Even the man repeller did an article about it and I was like "that's a sign!" ehe ;)

  22. Definitely the Susan's or those Alexander Wang leather platform sandals with the fringe around the ankle (can't remember the name).

  23. Yes the Office (cheaper) version of the Chloe Susan boots.

They got away a few years ago. I then found a pair on eBay and was winning till someone outbid me at the last second by 50p! I'm still hunting for them!
