Vogue photo shoot anyone?
I haven't done a competition post in ages but this one was WORTH posting because it's an easy win. The prize is attending a Vogue photo shoot in New York. I know - no big deal really.
Vogue and Polyvore have teamed up for Fashion Night Out and for 3 weeks a different judge is picking a collage to go through to win the shoot. I know you lot are way better than my above collage effort so hence sharing this opportunity with you.
Blake Lively picked the winning look for last week and Alexander Wang is choosing the winning collage for this week. I know - again no big deal.

my week - 8.7.11
Sorry I've been a little MIA. My parents flew in from St Lucia on Friday so I've been disconnecting from the computer while being reminded of what New York is like when seen through a visitors eyes. Anyway, some random pics taken during last week/this weekend.

Shirt: Uniqlo. Shorts: Unnecessary Clothing in Manhattan (similars here). Bag: Coach vintage (found on eBay but relaunched here). Boots: Guiseppe Zanotti (sold out but found glitter numbers here, here and one size 35 in black GZ pair here!). Check Topshop stores too. Hat: ASOS. Shades: Ray Ban. Nails: Essie 'Bright Tights'
I had a first. I wore white on white and didn't get anything on it - this never happens (anyone same as me with this? Is white a magnet of something? Especially with shirts). Uniqlo does good basic ones like this. Got a checked one by them too I'll show you in another post.
Normally I'd do a slouchy loose shirt with shorts but I like the mix of a structured/tailored one with something casual. Last time I did buttoned up was here I think?
Everything else you already know. ps. I still can't get over this damn boots. pps. Still can't get over the leopard coat either posted below. Glad you lot like it and yes already thinking of what to wear it with!

Where did u get that - shirt
I caught Westley taking a smoke break in the lower east side, close to Houston. The spotted shirt is perfect with the all black. He could've only worn the black T underneath but the simple patterned shirt 'finished' it.
His shirt and T are thrifted. The jeans and boots are Rick Owens. Shades are Cutler and Gross and the Ring is by Werkstatt Munchen.
