WDUGT - mixing up fur

Bumped into Lolitta at Milk Studios recently. Her combination of furs with stripes and cargo trousers looks sooo luxe (loved her leopard print with the shoes). I HAD to do a WDUGT on her.

Found these to get a similar look:

1. Yoox striped blazer.

2. Aldo wedges (these are the ones she wore).

3. eBay fur stole (you can find loads there or on etsy or vintage shops).

4. Express leopard tights but I think she's in leopard socks which I love (my leo socks were last seen here from H&M).

5. Uniqlo cargo trousers.

6. Forever21 necklace.

The sun popped out all this weekend so took some quick pics outside in one of the dresses I want to wear all summer. Normally I don't do black but there's enough cut out to stop the widow effect.

Picked up this fur vest from a Brooklyn flea on the same day I found this red fur monster (the vest was in the white bag). I've wanted a vest you can fling over anything because it allows you to wear all your jackets. Layer, layer, layer...

asos final - a man's world

Well - this is it. The ASOS Stylist final is here and this is my last outfit for it.

The ASOS brief? Wear head to toe ASOS and style it all around 1 item in my wardrobe that I will donate for sale on the ASOS market place site. I decided to style around my leopard print hat (don't worry, I have another leo hat I found and pick up soon LOL!!!!).

Colour wise I went with grey and browns. I like the idea of mixing cool and warm colours (esp grey and gold).

Thank you EVERYONE who has got me this far by voting. I am only in this Final because of you and I'm VERY aware of that. As you know I'm up against a huge blogger (with over 15,000 facebook likes - um hello?) so statistically I'll probably lose this (unless everyone who reads this votes).

Even though it's harder for me to win, I'm not bloody well going down without a fight and getting this far is an achievement in itself - regardless of the results next week. You readers have shown me that.

God was I chuffed to supply coverage again at Mik Cire during NYFW. The first time was in September (remember this?). I tell you - yes it's mens wear but I would wear the whole lot. To me this is unisex: Everything is always rock. Always wearable. Always laid back but with twists (note the trouser detail in pic 2). I reeeeeally loved the shrunken plaid suits and school boy back packs which felt very British (and earns a huge, but very biased, thumbs up).
