Pearly queen





I'm carrying a bit of home wearing this jacket..


Trousers: Zara (similars here and here). T-shirt: American Apparel (similar here). Jacket: Topshop (similar here or >cuff only). Convertible clutch: Rebecca Minkoff (my other >fave). Newsboy hat: H&M (similar here). Snake print heels: Christian Louboutin (love these too). Mini cross: W shop (found similar one here!)

This jacket has sentimental value.  It was the last one left on the first day that Topshop opened in New York a couple of years ago-ish.  Talk about luck. It was the ONE thing on my list to get that day.  It reminds me of those British pearly kings and queens - the originators of embellished clothes.  Definitely look them up if you've not heard of them.

Been wearing this bag for a couple of years ago now (old post here).  Normally I'm not a fan of short straps but I like it on this one - good to have the longer option though.   News: I found another short strap favourite the other day - will post shots of it soon.

  24. As soon as the first picture of you in this jacket opened up I thought immediately "that looks very british" and then I read the post. Too funny! I do love it though it's brilliant (my attempt to give you a great british compliment- should have wrote that it's the dogs bollox?)
