Victorian days

I wore this on one of the last warm days with canvas boots...

Boots: Loeffler Randall spectators (comes in all black here).  Sheer tunic + fringe bag: Gypsy Nation Vintage. Shades: Ray Ban. Chain ring: Made Her Think (similar here). 

I've been watching the whole leather/canvas boot thing and this is the first time I'm trying it.

You know me, normally I'd go for a really low ankle boot cut like these, but I'm weak on anything vintage feeling so love the victorian lace up look (heel is cylindrical).  I had an all black leather pair in London years ago and wore them to the ground so these feel like the update.

I've worn the boots a few times now, including during NYFW. This time I wore them a few days ago over a tunic.  The back is completely sheer so I wore a black slip underneath to avoid being arrested.

If it was still warm now I'd wear it so easy with leather thong sandals - summer's gone but I'm holding for an Indian summer any week now.  #fingerscrossed?
