I want these - cut off cowboy boots

For summer I love sandals but love boots more.

Right now I'm looking at vintage inspired western shoe boots.  Bonus: They won't cut your leg in half since they stop around your ankle instead of around your calf.

These are my favourites (so far).  If you have any recs, share please?

1.  Frye Billy (runs 1 sz large)
2.  Dolce Vita Stance
3.  Charles David Rally
4.  Dolce Vita Raj

  2. I love the third dark brown ones! The scuffing at the toes have the vintage feel. Check a western wear store, even though that sounds cheesy, but they always have a great selection of women's ankle boots. And if you can find any in ostrich, they are pretty much the softest shoes!

  10. How about these? They may be a little wide but nothing a pair of insoles wouldn't fix =)

  17. Yesterday I got the above Fryes for myself. :D You can never go wrong with a pair of Frye boots/shoes; they are made so well, last long and look better with each wear.

    Thanks for the suggestion! :)

  21. I wear boots 365 days a year haha. Well that's an exaggeration but u get what i mean.. love wearing boots, no matter what season it is! butttt.. I seriously don't know why but I haven't gotten used to wearing cut-off/low-cut boots.... As much as I wanna wear em, they just look so freakin weird on me... possibly due to my 5'3" height? (aka my short self haha). I've always felt like these kinds of boots look better on those with longer & leaner legs :)

i was recntly deciding between the dolce vita stance and raj boot. Ultimately I ended up choosing the stance boot because of its simplicity and the fact that it could go with anything I wore plus the lower heel. Although any of these would be great!
