long lines

Oversized men's leather jacket:  Rick Walkers vintage in Boston.  Skirt: Brooklyn flea market.  Boots: Jeffrey Campbell (last size left online).  Bag: Balenciaga.  Fedora: Trash & Vaudeville.  Shades: Ray Ban ( my faves of all the shades I have. Just learned today that Michael wants a pair).  Slash neck red top: American Apparel (anyone seen their leather clutches??). Sword necklace: Soos Rocks.  LOVE this one too for a singular piece (less expected than the typical crosses).

Saw this skirt at the Brooklyn flea last week Sunday and snatched it up.  The print is so gorge and very different from maxis that are usually plain. If you can't find a skirt like this, a dress like this one works with a plain top over it (love all their maxis).

The leather jacket was found while at Boston.  I've been looking for a long length version (the Phillip Lim oversized ones are so sick in real life but not in my budget).  Love the idea of wearing a leather jacket like a boyfriend blazer that really covers you up and this one was smooshy enough to cave.  I can see me balancing the longer line out with shorter skirts/shorts soon.

  16. Now that's a lovely piece of skirt! Recently I've bought on a flea market similar patterned blouse/tunic, straight from Thailand. Actually it's less aztec, than yours, and colours are more intense...hum :) Anyways - love your outfit, as always!

You have soooo many shoes! Could you post me the answer on my blog www.alookintomywardrobe.blogspot.com

  40. That skirt is a trip. Love it! I was thinking of you the other day. I picked up an incredible knitted maxi dress & it reminded me of a skirt you wore once. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to sell it or keep it, but here's a crappy iPhone pic of it. I think you would rock it! (excuse the undeez) http://blog.nickienoel.com/?p=2878
