break neck to the outnet

Main pre-occupation when in a cab - twitter of course
Bloody traffic and just look at that sky. It's like England all over again
I lost my Ray Ban Wayfarers during NYFW and have been using these instead (better pics of them on in this post)
At last - made it in one piece despite the 70mph ride on the FDR motorway
View from the photo studio on 12th floor
Outfit in cab: Coat: Zara. Harem jeans (see before in this post): H&M. Sequin top: Vintage. Fedora: Trash and Vaudeville. Boots: Jeffrey Campbell Bag: Balenciaga. Shades: American Apparel. Ring: Mania Mania
***
One grey morning last week, I got up bright and early, grabbed a cab (I still get a kick out of hailing a yellow cab believe it or not) and headed into Manhattan for a morning photo shoot for The Outnet.
***
Course, I got stuck in morning rush hour traffic on the 59th street bridge (pic 3) but in true New York cab style, the driver lead footed it the rest of the way while I'm madly tweeting to distract me from the wind tunnel effect ride (twitter followers know all this already plus a couple of behind the scene pics from the day).
***
The whip lash ride was forgotten the moment I stepped into the studio, met the super nice (and fellow British!!) staff from The Outnet and (wait for it) I clapped eyes on the jaw dropping clothes...
***
I'll post more shots very soon :-)

  13. *sigh* my favourite blogger strikes again!

Whenever I find a pair of sunglasses I absolutely love, they inevitably get lost or broken (by me sitting on them no less!) so I feel for you.

Your hair looks lovely in that last shot.

Whereabouts in NY do you stay? I'm moving from the UK soon :) so any advice you can give me would be very much appreciated.

  27. Fashion Chalet - I know I felt like I was in a London black cab (but a fraction of their prices)

She Wears She Shares - no so far mine has stayed. The strap on my All Saints fringe boots falls down though and I know a couple of people said it fell off and they lost it!

Oracle - yes it came!! I think its too 'perfect' I've been squashing it a bit to make it more uneven before wearing it : ))

Anon - the shirt in the last pic is from The Outnet!! Its by D&G. I LOVE IT!!!! and really want it.

  31. One of the big differences between the two, is with Facebook, your audience are there because they want to be, they have to opt in by ‘liking’ you therefore you have the ability really target your audience with products and services.
