pixie blue

Grey jumper: H&M (Mens section). Leather pencil skirt: Agnes B (thrifted!!). Boots: Aldo. Rings: Gift/Trash & Vaudeville/Fashionology
How flipping bright are these??? I facebooked (new word) a pic of these boots before posting them here. Course, they originated here but that was ages ago.
***
This slouchy jumper was much bigger (if you can believe that) but it shrunk in the wash. I'll get another one. Note. The best simple jumpers are from the men's section. Makes anything worn with them 10 x better.
***
ps. Don't think I'm not still looking at the ALDO dance vids. Ends Dec 6th. Let me know if you join so I see you? I need to give someone(s) big cheques ;-)

ASOS contacted me to take part in a styling competition based around their clothes.
***
One look - a night on the town. The other - whatever the weather wintery look.
***
Above is the second (their items: the hat, grey jumper and cardi). I layered the grey jumper over my pale beaded tunic. The base is my maxi sheer dress (I'll show better shots of it another time) which I layered over these garter tights and wedge boots. The oversized cardi and hat were last.
***
I'll let you know when the competition opens on ASOS's website. The fact that they asked me to be included was enough of a win :-))

Flats like this or platform like above. No in between. Really high or really low. (I wasn't too far from car access when I wore these though).

spanish moss

They just get it.

God. What don't I want from the above? Bell bottoms with platforms? (You lot know I love my bells like here and here), oversized tops (err see post below), mini white dresses with long sleeves (yep - check) or a floor sweeping maxi? (where do I start: here, here or here - ok you get the point). The above needs to be in my wardrobe asap.

perks across the pond

Jumper: Topshop (on sale). Tights: Henry Holland. Platform wedges: River Island. Satchel: Coach vintage (coach told me they brought it back & it's here). Coat: Zara (found at a thrift shop). Rings: YSL/Trash & Vaudeille/gift. Shades: Ray Ban
***
Tweet followers, you already saw these platform wedges. My mouth fell open when I saw them here by River Island (British based company). They run true to size and they are comfortable (errr big platform? hello?). If your looking for a chunky platform wedge you must get these! (thank you Lady Bird for posting them to me).
***
I got these tights when I was back home in London haven't worn them (till now). I had them on with the coat but took it off so you could see the jumper a bit better. I have another striped jumper like this one but with a v-neck - bought years ago. Course I can't find it. When I do I'll post it here. I LOVE the v-neck version.
***
note: Perk to living in America: this Brit works a short week (it's Thanksgiving this Thursday). Any Americans going away next weekend?
ps. For those that ask, the camera used is a Nikon D90. Lens is 50 fixed. We have 3 lenses which we rotate but these shots are with the 50.
