Found this slinky maxi at H&M. Kind of reminds me of a longer version of (this one).

ps. It's taken me this long to realize this side braid stops my hair from frizzing.

These seventies boots had my name all over them!! The massive two tone wood platform, the huge heel - I'm wearing these all winter when dressed in all black with maxis like (this one) or with winter shorts, black wool tights and a floor length cardigan (see? my brain is already going).

I mix up all sorts, so wearing a large crochet top and leopard pants with them makes perfect sense to me. The pants sit low on the hips with a deep pocket on either side. Just how I like it. Max comfort. Just wear wool tights under them when it gets colder.

Bring on Autumn. Winter too. Let's do this.

They came at long last! The bloody big ass monster 2-inch platform boots came at laaaast.

I've been on a serious kick (excuse the pun) for big stomping boots and these are definitely one of them. Erin Wasson wore these recently here with a net dress and I LOVE teaming dresses long or short with boots and these are a great clash.

Anyone not scared of double takes (it will happen from both sexes) then get them from Solestruck here.

After picking up my tongue from off the YSL fluffy carpet, I got the black and silver one above.

It's the darker side kick to my gold/coral one posted before, including (here).

I noticed that style is going for almost double on eBay? Have a look. Crazy.

Michael and I ended up at an off the road seafood shack & bar in Long Island yesterday.

It was ooooo about 85-ish? It felt an indian summer, so I wore this jumpsuit with a tribal/navajo design. The material is a like a loose drapey jersey. Now if I could only find a giant wool poncho like it too....anyone seen any? If not I'll keep checking thrift shops.

You know how much I love the tan JS Dany platforms. You've seen me in them (here) and (here), so I jumped at getting the black for Autumn. Found them here last week.

Here's the rest of the shots from below. I found the kimono style blouse a few years ago on consignment (the waist sash doubles around the waist. It's that long).

That day was nothing but open fields, old barns and catching the odd deer running across the street (see them on the left in pic 4). I have a few more shots taken upstate which I'll post again soon.
