Been after a black leather fringe bag for ages and picked up this during the LF 60% off sale. You already know about my fringe fixation like this jacket and this (still my fave fringe one).

The bells are the latest addition to the flares pile and yes I'll say it first: the top is a frequent visitor here.

First time I've worn tights in ages. It was that cool today in New York. What's going on?

You can tell I'm a fashion addict though because I smiled knowing it was my chance to wear this army jacket that was sitting in the coat room *rubs hands together*

I remember the assistant when I was buying it: "wow you found one? where was this?" Me: "errr. over there why?" Assistant: "we've had so many customers calling asking for it I'm suprised we still had one lying around. You got lucky."

I had no idea it was sought after.

Either way, it was just what I wanted: a bit wrinkly, a bit worn in and big enough to wear a warm lining under it when it reeeeeally gets cold.

Lunch time at work:

After work:

Met up with a friend for treacle pud and custard at a British caff in the West Village.

At home:

Threw jeans on the bed and realized my pile of flares is growing... I love them more than skinnies anyway

Chances of me scoring this long lusted after ACNE dress are long gone, so I grabbed this version instead to satisfy the crave.

I remember mentioning this cropped jacket here, but to switch it up, I'll probably wear this dress as well with a long cardigan, scarf, boots and hat once it cools down.

God. It's August already... summer's going too fast.

my rock rocks

It was my boyfriend Michael's birthday recently and I want to say a big thank you to him for being my support from day 1 with blogging till today.

I remember all the times before I started a blog when I procrastinated saying "yeah yeah yeah I'll start it one day. I will. Promise" and months later, I never did. But he kept on nudging me to "just start and see how it goes."

Look magazine - oh my lawd!

My mouth literally fell open when I saw this double page spread in Look magazine, Britain's biggest selling weekly fashion mag.

Thanks to everyone who emailed me when I asked for a copy in this post. To say I'm well chuffed is an understatement, but when I saw this note taped to a big box that arrived from blog reader Donna, I lost it. She packed inside two dresses, jewellery and packets of Wotsits and Monster Munch (roast beef!!). Without wanting to sound a bit soft, a lot of you are not only readers, but really really cool friends to find.
