Finally made it to New Orleans. Sorry it's taken so long to post. I've been busy enjoying myself.

This must be my 6th time back and it feels like home.

Took snapshots of some things I see when getting dressed.

Some I use constantly. Others down the road. Depends how I'm feeling.

It's a mix of vintage/thrift/street vendors/high street.

leather strapped

Typical Brit weather today; drizzly on and off rain. I can relate (of course).

I wore the leather overalls I picked up on clearance last week. Twitter followers get mini previews here of what I'll probably post later, so they already saw the changing room pic.

The leather is matte (no shine) and has adjustable leather waist and ankle ties. Still can't believe they were $200 (now $20). They reeeeally work too as oversized leather pants with the shoulder straps hanging down around the legs.

If you follow me on twitter here you already know about the H&M things I picked up during lunch (STILL can't get over the $20 leather dungarees).

One of the other things is this delicate hand chain. Hang on did I twit/twitter/tweet it?Anyway, point is I got it today and kept it on.

Interesting jewellery seems to be my (unplanned) theme of the week.

I dug up these 09 wedges in the basement where my non-rotation shoes, frolic and roam free (much to Michael's annoyance).

Last year August, Sandee from Armor Jewelry sent me this long earring.

Fast forward to last month when I visited her at a New York soho boutique now selling her gorge body pieces. This UME body chain stood out to me while going through all her pieces and Sandee was kind enough to send it to me last week.

It looks like a normal heavy chain necklace when wearing a jacket (till a wind gust shows a flash of more chains). I wore it with the long H&M dress you saw me get here and my old Fryes.

I noticed it gets long looks (mostly from women) on the packed subway train (at least it did this morning and this evening coming home).

ps. speaking of jewellery. Jesus people, the interest in that cross ring is unreal. I am actually reading all the comments so keep them coming and I'll pick someone and ship it off (worldwide).

forever 21 cross giveaway

I found this cross connector ring over a week ago or more and have been wearing it religiously (excuse the pun) so I wanted to share the wealth with a giveaway!

Not sure if anyone's noticed, but this ring has been selling for around $90+ on ebay (crazy considering it retails less than $5).

I bought an extra in a size S/M - equivalent to a ring size 7/7.5. It was the only size left on Forever 21's site and it was their very last one.

I can already tell these leo boots will be a regular feature on this blog, just like the All Saints. I haven't worn these out yet, but plan to as of tomorrow.

I have to say, another fave is this crushed velvet belted trench coat. I found it on sale and LOVE it. It's a bit on the thin side but looks so good I don't even care.
