catching the breeze

I was invited to the Paper Magazine party last Thursday after appearing in their Social Networking issue and I wore this outfit. I posted behind the scene pics from the photo shoot a while ago here.
This is the Topshop side split dress that I picked up in London and it works over loads. I layered it over an old sheer beaded tunic and cycling shorts. There's better pics of the beaded tunic here.
It was so humid that evening, so anything that caught a breeze was vital (or risk turning into a hot mess).

  52. Love the dress! very cool. I recently got a maxi dress and for some reason all my friends found it hilarious. just can't see the humor though. It looks equally cute if i pin it up into a shorter draped dress. maybe one day i will wear it full length :)
