Shoes: Bebe<--black gets re-listed. Jacket: Zara. Fedora: Thrift. Leopard print top: Men's H&M. Bag: Alexander Wang. Grey cardigan: Forever 21. Crucifix: Fashionology
Monster wedge. Monster wedge. Monster wedge.
That was the one thing in my head when I was sent a Bebe gift certificate for best New Year's pictures via Chictopia (thank you!).
I picked up these platforms immediately. Like most sandals, wear now with wrinkly old socks and then bare feet later on.
ps. Do you lot do the sock/heel thing as well?

not sure that i'm a fan of the sock/heel thing but i love your rings!!
ReplyDelete<3 those wedges! and i also love the socks/heels thing. it makes use out of spring/summer shoes in the winter! just as long as it's a cute pair of socks and not some dingy pair of gym socks.
ReplyDeletethose wedges are amazing!! I need to do the socks with shoes more, but its been so rainy
ReplyDeleteI did the sock and platform sandal thing on one post and I think it can be a cute look! I paired black & white platform lace up heels with red socks. I like your Bebe platform wedges a lot. They look gorgeous and easy to walk in. I like the leopard print top as well! xo

I like the sock+heel thing! Especially super girly frilly socks with bad ass wedges/sandals.
ReplyDeletei personally love the socks/heel jam. i recently stumbled upon your blog and i am an unabashed fan!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried, but i really like the socks heel combination and wanna try this winter! Wich kind of socks do you recomend?
ReplyDeleteYeahhhhh I'm such a big fan of the whole sock/heel combo! Seriously, it's such a great way to continue wearing the fabulous heels all the way through freezing cold winter weathers (when I'm sick of strutting around in boots, that is).. And yeah chica..... I love your rings too! Where do you get most of your rings from?
ReplyDeleteBtw I have a similar leopard top as the one ur wearing here, but mine is from forever 21 :)

I'm very hesitant about doing the heel/sock combo but I would do heels with opaque tights.
ReplyDeletethose shoes are amazing!!!! you always pull of the shoes socks look so effortlessly...
ReplyDeletelove the socks with shoes look! you always make it look so effortless! i really love thigh high socks, but unfortunately they've been a bit hard for short lil' me to pull off. :/
ReplyDeletetwodilettantes.blogspot.com
I don't do the sock heel thing myself because i always feel like a bit of a pillock. You, however pull it off ever so well. Those wedges are also fierce! Absolutely love them

Hi you lot. Thanks for the comments. Socks def makes shoes year round (apart from rain of course).
ReplyDeleteI know the shoes are insanely high but that's the attraction.
Marian - any sock that's not furry sports like will do. So anything thats thin ish so you can get some wrinkle. H&M usually has some good ones or Topshop?
Thx for those asking about the rings. The skull i've had for ages. Its from a street vendor on St Marks Place. The 'wings' ring next to it I got from a random cheap jewellery only shop midtown. The little squiggle snake is from Fashionology.net I've got about 3 various snake rings now. That one's the smallest.
Fashion Chalet - definitely!
Rings and Purple leopard shirt are delightful!
ReplyDeleteahhh those wedges are so perfect; i would buy them if they were up on the site!
ReplyDeleteoh and i love the sock/heel combo, especially when it's done right, like you did here =)
Initially, I thought socks with heels were a No! You and Erika inspired me to wear socks with my platforms. Everything on you doesn't seem so weird after all. I checked out YES STYLE, the store you mentioned awhile back, I think you wore a skull knit or something of that sort. Got this cute gray sweater with primary color mini pom poms. I love it, so thanks for the referral!
ReplyDeleteCool look! Platforms are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I've added you to my blogroll and I have a giveaway, check it out www.soulpretty.com
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit here!
ReplyDeletethe higher the wedge the better, these fit the bill! YES the sox and wedge combo is always a DO in my book. U look great!!
ReplyDeleteWauw really cool look!
ReplyDeletex amber
MONSTER! AHH I WANT THE MONSTER! I love the sock/sandal look so long as its involving sky high heels and scrunched up socks. Some people make the sad mistake of birks and socks which is BAD BAD BAD! You look fab.
