I must try this pinning idea

These two danced forever. Parties where everyone's just standing around isn't a party.
Girl on right is Sophie Conti. See her hilarious interview on Stylelikeu here.

Dress: Thrifted. Hat: Trash & Vaudeville. Fringe ankle boots: All Saints. Bag: same as usual ; -) Leather jacket (unseen): Zara
Last night (in the pouring rain) I went to the Oak party to celebrate the launch of their fourth mag issue; Oakazine.
I met up with friends Tay Trong and Gemma (Fade to Black) where we basically ran into the same crowds seen during New York fashion week.
After a couple of hours, we headed down town to The Rivington Hotel to the Stylelikeu party. Stylelikeu is one of my fave style websites, capturing New York's take on personal style via video. The venue was full of those who have appeared on the website.
I wore a floor length burgundy sequin dress with side pockets. (It's darker in real life. Blame the camera flash) with a fedora and my black All Saints boots.

  5. I still can’t believe how many bloggers get such an absurd amount of attention for just taking photos of themselves…Why do so many people care!?!? The worst part is that most have nothing to say about fashion and when and if they do it has no real fashion value or relevance. There is no way that they should be allowed to vote or dictate anything on an cfda ballot.

  6. That blogger thing is getting out of hand. Seriously! Yes they love fashion and all but they have no experience in the industry. Blogging about fashion is one thing but working in the industry is something else. It's a knowledge, it's more than knowing fashion designers or snapping street styles or forecasting trends.
