bathroom antics

Shoes: Jessica Simpson. Dress: Forever 21. Socks: H&M. Crucifix: Fashionology.
More wood!
After a month ago of twittering (that's a word??) about these monster wood platforms, I finally got them after enlisting a girlfriend's thoughts during a 'should I get them after weeks of pondering?' Macys trip.
Finally - an alternative to the leopard prints which I've been wearing for ages.
The tan and wood reminds me a bit of the Celine Spring 2010 collection here where I LOVED seeing models wear nude wood platforms with everything.
The lace dress is Forever 21 bought about 3 weeks ago when it surfaced on their site. (I've just about given up trying to find a vintage version from a thrift shop).
ps. Have you lot started looking around at spring shoes yet?

  5. Karen, I absolutely love your hair.

    And as for the shoes: I'm trying to get over my personal refusal to wear anything "by" Jessica Simpson but this is the second time I've seen these shoes and I'm kind of loving them...I'd think I'd have to try them out in black though, knowing me. How are they in the real world, like, on the mean streets of New York? Are they walkable? Let me know how it goes once the snow melts.

  65. For Spring, I really want a pair of tan laced ankle boots in suede, similar to the Chloe ones but with a much lower price point. Can't afford designer. Open toe would be awesome and would compliment the Spring season. Any suggestions?

    Grace - hope F21 restocks the dress again or you find it in the shop. It's the next best thing to vintage (for now).

    Kookie B - I know you have to move so bloody fast. Only reason I got the dress is because I bought it on the spot online. I just had a feeling it would vanish. Same with the top version to it (yes it comes as a top!!) I scooped that up mega fast as well....keep checking the site.

    The shoes are actually walkable. Not for like miles on end like any high heel but its extremely sturdy being a thick wood heel and the platform takes away ALOT of the height.
