Poncho: Y-3 by Yohji Yamamoto. Track pants: American Apparel. Winter leggings (under pants): American Apparel. Shoes: Balenciaga. Bag: Forever21. Thermals (unseen). Hat: H&M. Gloves: Street vendor. Shawl scarf: Thrift
Nothing but tons of layers these past few days. I can't believe I forgot about this oversized wool poncho and there's me, looking everywhere in vintage spots for one. This one will definitely do (it has pockets!!) and I may just make one instead (looking for a nice blanket fabric).
I wore about 4 layers under this poncho, including a wool polo neck dress. Same one I wore before with the same space age Birkenstocks (see 'stripped' post below).
First time in the purple floppy hat (I'm addicted to the black one). Good to change it up a bit.
ps. I've updated the shop so let me know if you're interested in anything. Adding more stuff as I go along...
pps. Thanks Meresone. Your graffiti is sick.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love that floppy purple hat it's so perfect with the graffiti walls! Seeing that is actually making me nostalgic for NY ; )
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny you're wearing grey track pants. I just read a great article in the Times Style section here in London... where is it... ah!!

it really got me in the mood for a soft pair of grey track pants - but only, as Shane said, with 'heavy duty heels - never trainers'. In fact I"m going to put your link on her comments this very minute.
Did you really make that poncho? If you're making them from real blankets, what about old welsh plaid ones? There are some gorgeous colour combinations. But I love it just like this, in soft black.
That hat is so beautiful, love the colour!
ReplyDeleteA PIECE OF PASSION
