hang on a sec...

Dress: Thrifted. Boots: Jeffrey Campbell (A similar version is available to buy here).
I got this Pucci inspired dress a few months back while thrifting and had to re-post it now when a couple of nights ago, I stumbled across Rihanna in it too. My original post is here.
It's considered a bit rude to ask what someone paid, but what the heck; I am wondering what it retailed for Rihanna or her stylist (on the rare occasion that it was not a freebie).

wear it more

Dress: Vintage. Boots: Emma Cook. Fur jacket: Vintage/Thrift. Bag: Thrift (DIY studded). Black shawl: Thrift. Snake ring: East village boutique. Nail polish: Dollar by Rococo.
The jacket ended up being removed since it was so damn warm today in New York. Isn't it December soon? What's up with the mild weather?
I don't wear this dress often enough and really need to. I got it at a vintage shop in the Lower East Side (same place that I got the coin necklace posted here). It's actually a swingy A-line-ish shape but I prefer it worn belted.
The stud belt is too big to be worn at the waist so I did a twist knot thingy to make it stay. I need to find a stud belt that's meant for the waist to wear over loads of dresses. Speaking of dresses, I just noticed that asos.com has a ton of gorge ones right now here and I'm staring at a few of them for abnormally long lengths of time I think :-/

flowers in autumn

Jacket: Zara. Leggings: American Apparel. Boots: Dr Marten. Purple scarf: Love Quotes. Black mini shawl: Thrift. Hat & wool polo neck dress: H&M. Shades: Ray Ban
I took Oliver for a walk today and just like the words to that song; All the leaves are brown, except the skies weren't grey. Blue and sunny would be more accurate.
I wore these American Apparel leggings that I loved from the first time that I saw them at the shop but kept umm-ing and ahh-ing for weeks thereafter - until a couple of days ago. I paired them with the Docs because I LOVE clashing florals together.
How's everyone's weekend going so far? This is Day 3 of the long weekend in the US and it feels bloody brilliant!

preggers

Jacket: Topshop. Dress: FCUK. Boots: Bebe. Bag: Thrift/DIY studded
Nope I'm not pregnant. Just keep reading.
For Thanksgiving, the boyfriend and me had dinner at a restaurant in the upper west. Neither of us could be around family for the day and we didn't fancy cooking 4+ different courses plus washing up so going out made sense. Plus we brought home great leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
The YSL tribute copies are by Bebe. I had tried on the actual YSL's at Barneys about a year ago-ish and was SOLD, but the price tag stopped a purchase right there and then. When I saw these by Bebe that had a similar look, they were good enough.
I posted wearing this FCUK knit dolman sleeved dress here with jeans but I think I prefer it without. Its loose shape was perfect for hiding a belly pregnant with food (which mine was).
So how was your Thanksgiving? Just as waist expanding?

home stretch

Jacket: Thrift: Tiger/Leo top: Urban Outfitters (clearance). Faux leather jeans: Trash & Vaudeville. Boots: Jeffrey Campbell. Bag: Thrift DIY studded. Skull ring: street vendor. Large flat ring: Fashionology.nl. Nailpolish by Rococo in 'Dollar'
I feel like everything's slowing down now for Thanksgiving on Thursday. There's less people on the trains in the morning (which makes me feel just dandy for being one of the mugs that's still going in). I can't complain though; if I was in London right now, it would be a full work week so I see this as a lucky couple of days off.
I actually hated this jacket when I first saw it on the hanger but I tried it on anyway and that was it. Love the suede trim, the belt, the open collar. All a bit retro.

off the chopping block

DSC_1138
Dress: Thrift. Winter leggings (not seen) American Apparel. Ski thermal top: (not seen). Boots: All Saints. Faux leather jacket: Silence & Noise/Urban Outfitters. Scarf: H&M. Silver large cross: Fashionology. Bag: Thrift DIY studded. Belt: Trash & Vaudeville. Silver nail polish: 'Dollar' by Rococo
I know I've been such a slacker lately with the videos. Or lack there of.
With Thanksgiving later this week, I'll have enough days off to play around a bit.
I bought this thrift dress with the intention of slashing it to a mini but I'm digging the long length.

the hole stays

Jacket: Thrift. Top: H&M. Leggings: Forever 21. Shoes: ALDO. Bag: Balenciaga. Scarf: Love Quotes. Snake ring: LF. Nail Polish: 'DOLLAR' by Rococo
I went out to a restaurant/bar earlier this afternoon and wore the sequin jacket bought from a thrift shop about two weeks ago ish? I still haven't had it tailored yet but what the heck, it's fine for now. I'll get it tailored this week (she says now).
I like that it's trimmed in black. A bit like the heels which have a black trim as well. A small touch but it makes a difference I think. You guys know the lace leggings already. Being clumsy I of course already got a hole in the damn things but actually sort of like it now.
I LOVE this silver metallic nail polish that I picked up the other day. It's like your fingers were dipped in liquid metal.
