acne vs. alexa

Boots: ACNE Attacoma. Alexa by Jeffrey Campbell
The Alexa boots by Jeffrey Campbell JUST hit LF stores (you can buy them online here).
Being I'm still having issues with the fit of these gorgeous ACNE's, I planned to possibly switch to the Jeffrey Campbells to still get 'the fix.' But there's a problem:
The ACNE's are without doubt my favourite (the sexier cut, the thick mirror trim etc), but are still tight on me (I got a size 40, their largest, but needed a 41). The Alexa's are a great version but (here's the wierd part): The Alexa's are a touch tight on me too!! Why? They both have a very rounded toe and my feet suit longer/pointy shapes. (I have Jeffrey Campbells that all fit fine so its definitely a shape thing).
Either way, here they both are and whichever I let go of will go in the shop (still working on it, please bear with me!).
What do I do???

express yourself, don't repress yourself, express yourself, don't repress yourself

Catsuit, PVC corset, stiletto boots (unseen). Leather neck collar, driving gloves, whip, chains (you get the idea) Sex shops and random costume places.
Halloween 2008. I was the dominatrix and Michael was my gimp. I couldn't find anything steel wise for his mouth so pulled a sheer stocking over his face with a mask on top (he has the mask off his face here). His features re-inflated at the end of the night ; - )
The chain leash I'm holding was attached to his neck collar and I walked him around all night.
I used make up by MAC to 'paint' a mask on my face.
All styling inspiration came from Human Nature by Madonna. One of my fave looks ever.
See the video here to see why.

current obsessions

Source: Olsens Anonymous. Carolines Mode. Forever 21
A thick wool poncho to wear over skinnies and boots
A jewel coloured vintage (or vintage inspired) drawstring bag
Sky high (non cork) platform wedge sandals to wear with knit tights and socks
If anyone has seen anything close to these, do let me know. Also, what are your current obsessions?

some ivory

Dress: French Connection. Boots: Topshop. Faux fur gilet: H&M. Bag: Thrift DIY Studded. Watch: Borrowed from the boyfriend
I quickly changed clothes when I got in from work to head out for the night.
I wore the boots and fur gilet this time with my fave ivory dress by FCUK. They always have great dresses like these ones. I've worn this dress before with the cropped fur and minnetonkas posted here.
Black on black is always cool, but I think this is my favourite way to wear these boots, with a contrasting light colour. I think....It's early days still.

got leather

Mens' hoodie & faux fur vest: H&M. Leggings: American Apparel. Boots: Topshop. Bag: Thrift DIY studded. Dress worn as a top: East village boutique
At LONG LAST. The thigh highs came. They are Topshop's Britany boots in black leather.
The platform makes the heel height really wearable. I had them on all day at work (yes I can wear these at work. It's a casual dress code) and they were fine. I give them a 8/10. I deduct marks for them not being high up enough on my legs (and they slouch down) plus I'd love if the heel were thicker. Overall though, they are definite keepers. I must try them over jeans asap.
I finally got a longer version to my cropped faux vest bought last winter and posted about here (a few posts down). I wanted something that was more coat-like. Love the optional self tie belt so you can wear it loose and open.

home shopping

Dress: American Apparel. Boots: Steve Madden DIY studded. Bag: Thrift shop DIY studded. Leather jacket: Trash and Vaudeville (kids section). Red lego Brooch: Dee and Ricky. Lipstick: MAC 'Red'
Short with sleeves. It's that combination again. That's why I like this dress (plus the pockets).
I wore it before with platform ankle boots here.
I organized my shoes and boots and put these DIY studded combat boots on after finding them all over again. It's like shopping at home when you do a clear out.
Speaking of which, I WILL be starting a shop website. Bear with me while I get it all sorted. I have some great boots (some over the knee and ankle) that need to go to new homes. Clothes too. Note: in shoes I'm a US size 10/UK 8/Euro 41.

alien behaviour

Dress: Forever 21. Leather jacket: Trash and Vaudeville. Shoes: Minnetonka. Bag: Thrift DIY studded. Necklaces: Vintage & African shop.
If there's one thing I like about living in America, is that they really celebrate Halloween and Autumn. The fall drives, the pumpkin picking, the hot cider, the dressing up for Halloween, the trick or treating (so bloody cute!) and decorating houses. I mean they REEEALLY go all out.
There's none of that in London. Ask a stranger over there trick or treat and see what THAT gets you.
The drive today ended in getting two pumpkins. I wore my long dress with a cropped leather jacket that I got from the children's section - a good way to get the shrunken look for cheap. I wore suede ankle fringed Minnetonkas. The lego brooch is from Dee and Ricky. Thank's Dee ; )

schwing

Dress & fur vest: Forever 21. Beaded top: Somewhere in London. Boots: Jeffrey Campbell. Rings: LF
Here's the other way I tried on the lace dress from last week. I can't remember where I got this transparent beaded top but love wearing it as a final layer. It has some swing to it so over the dress, it changes it's shape from body con to slightly baby doll.
The original Phi Creeper boots are amazing, but this version by JC is definitely good enough for me. For those that asked, they are true to size. You can get them via LF or online here.
The cropped faux fur vest adds some texture and is one of my fave pieces to also layer, (especially over leather jackets). You can get a longer version here (which I'm 2 seconds away from ordering actually. It's gorge).

close your mouth

I promise more outfit pics after this, but until then....
sleep shot edit
This dream worthy collage of Burberry gems is floating around in my head.
Chew on this people.
