socks with heels

Coat: Topshop. Dress: American Apparel. Boots: Zara. Bag: Rebecca Minkoff. Fedora: Trash & Vauderville.
God. I've been meaning to get this post up but never got round to it.
The bloody boots from Zara!!!!! I've been ummming and ahhing over these for over a month. I tried them on back then and dismissed them, then I went back last week to mosey around and there they were. Only two pairs left and one in my size. I took it as a sign.
I tried them on and that was it. Done. They feel like socks with a heel and lug platform attached. They are that comfy. (A customer at Zara was buying her SECOND pair as a back up).
The dress is American Apparel here.
The tulip skirt coat is a purchase from Topshop years ago.
ps. Bought thigh high boots today (literally stops at the thigh). Let's see how I get on with those. Post to follow...

hudson virgin

Blazer: H&M. Jeans: Hudson. Boots: Dr Marten. Bag: Thrift (DIY studded). Shades: Thrifted. Tank: Present (gift)
These charcoal skinnies were sent from Hudson and considering I've never worn the brand before, they're actually not too bad. They've got that starting-to-fade wash, plus they don't do that ANNOYING gape at the back of my waist. These curve in and hug.
I look forward to seeing these age. Thanks Hudson ;-)
The head trip tank is a present from my friend Tay Trong. I've posted him wearing them before like here. The person on mine is Joe Piro, a dance instructor. I friggin LOVE the blurred manic face.
Nothing beats watching people's puzzled expressions from behind shades.

london calling

Blazer & Boots: Zara. Leggings: Ebay.co.uk Black top: American Apparel. Tshirt: Express. Bag: Thrifted (DIY studded). Fedora: Trash and Vaudeville
I could NOT resist these union jack leggings from ebay.co.uk. The original way I intended to wear them hasn't been finished yet (more to come on that), but I love them just like this with a pair of tall boots and an oversized top.
The boots I got from Zara during their summer 70% off sale. They are lined throughout with fleece so they feel like Uggs (from the inside). The pointy shoulder blazer is Zara too.
ps. Thank you American Apparel for showing me on your website here and here (scroll down to Seen On Bloggers).

lights...camera...

I was approached recently by a Japanese company NY-Icons about doing a New York shopping video (at the time of writing this post, it was JUST put on You Tube).
Jesus, I sound so bloody OTT. I'm going to just laugh at myself.
It was held in LF where you know I've bought a few bits and pieces (including the Creepers) and yes, I was tempted by those studded wedges by Jeffrey Campbell.
Chic Intuition - I know you guys wanted them after your message on twitter ;-)

patriotic

Dress: Thrift. Shoes: LF. Denim jacket: Forever 21. Bag: Vintage (DIY studded). Shades: Rayban Wayfarer
Ever since trying these Creepers on last week I've been obsessing.
Also, remember me posting about them here?
I almost got the all black ones but 1. I have a ton of black shoes 2. Good contrast in winter 3. I have black high heeled creepers. Here's a picture of them here in blue via Knight Cat.
I have to admit. It feels a bit patriotic putting these on. I'm thinking Camden Town market, waiting for the buses in the rain, eating fish and chips, shopping at Tesco's and drinking tea all day.
God. I need to go back.

animal lover

Top: Thrift. Bag: Thrift (DIY studded). Skinnies: Trash & Vauderville. Shoes: MARNI. Shades: Ray Ban
I LOVE animal print. Whether it's the leopard splashes you've seen throughout my blog like here, or these leopard print wood platforms I posted here wearing on the beach (yes, the beach).
I got these zebra print skinnies from Trash and Vauderville (suprise suprise). LOVE the clash with the sporty top.
I'm in no way related to anything in Ohio. I just loved the graphic print (and the price - $2 at a church thrift shop).
