Two bargains worn on the weekend. The platform shoes are Forever 21. My first pair of zip up heels (and first F21 shoe purchase) and let me tell you: comfortable. Maybe not for hours of dancing, but bloody well as good as (until a heel snaps off. How long should we give till one does?).

I got the vest at the Elizabeth & James/La Rok sample sale a few weeks ago.

Chantal and I had another get together running around the Lower East Side pretending to play dress up. One a bit romantic. The other more edged out.

Her tights are another DIY Rodarte-esq job. I'm wearing an H&M dress that I re-worked and one of her other tights (sprinkled with black swarovski's).

The looks swing between 'hmmm should I' or 'wtf is that?' It's bloody brilliant!

Only fitting I ended up passing through Times Square, the epicenter of glitzy flash. The legs should fit right in.

The skinnies, the eff off boots, the slashed leggings, the body con dresses. All brilliant to wear, but every now and then I need a sugar fix.

This was the funniest shoot ever. Effing rain? We didn't give a toss. Chantal - you are a trooper to wear those suede Alaia's in the rain.

Speaking of shoes, these nude platform peep toe boots are my little internet miracle. I had been thinking about them for a while now but noticed all sites now sold out. So after some online searching, I found them at LF (wasn't I just there??). I immediately grabbed them at the Flatiron store (where I noticed they had grey too).

The H&M dress was on a clearance rack.

Small reasons to sing and dance in the rain. It's only water.

Shoes: Azalia Azali Met up with Chantal, a fab fashion blogger who I've become semi joined at the hip with. I feel like I've known her for ages which is odd since we just met. Her style is beyond sick. She embellished her tights herself. We hit meat packing district down town for some shots together. Platforms will always be a God send for getting around these streets. After changing outfits for some different pics, it ended up pouring but we shot in the rain anyway. Those shots will go up tomorrow.
