Blazer: H&M. Jodpurs: Daffys. Top: American Apparel. Fedora: Trash and Vaudeville. Shoes: ACNE. Nail polish: Dollar by Rococo
It was a bit colder than I thought today so the pics were taken so damn fast. Thank God the car was close by. We stopped by our fave place at lunch time for a baguette that tastes IDENTICAL to those in Paris - I'm NOT kidding you. It's a little hole in the wall bakery in Harlem that gets double parked with cab drivers picking up a fresh stick. No where else has bread like this except across the big pond.
The cropped jodpurs are from Daffys. I got the leopard print scarf about three months ago from a British owned boutique in the east village. I sort of liked that it wasn't the usual brown.
I still feel like kissing (or at least hugging) the cobbler for the ACNE stretch job. He had to convince me that he could do it. Hang on; they must have re-stocked! Two sizes are available here on ACNE's site.
ps. Thank you American Apparel for the additional blog pics on your site (scroll down when on here, here and here.

Those pants look so like the boyfriend jeans! Lovely clean cut. Also ♥ the scarf and the nails! They match :D

ReplyDeleteThese pants rule! And i love, that the belt is not black or grey. One detail can make an overal monochrome look not so simple :)

Fade to black - I KNOW!!!! the grey ones look AH-MAZING!!! They are so drool worthy. I almost want to go to ACNE just to pet them lol! I wear alot of grey in the winter/fall so the black makes more sense for me.
ReplyDeleteSwank Heights - ha! you have teeny feet so no risks there ; )
The Queen of Hearts - The camera is Nikon D90. We have two fave lenses: 50 mm fixed and (as of late) the 24 to 70mm zoom lens. The latter one is the one that's been used for about the past month alone. All the rest before were 50 fixed.
Fashion Chalet - the ACNE's are avail in grey in your size!
Thx everyone for your comments. It's crappy rain right now (Saturday) in NY : ( hope you guys are having a good one!
I want your hat. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL!

OMG I WANT YOUR SHOES! Damn you with your fabulous footwear!
ReplyDeleteYour shoes look très haute mode!! I think NYC is always colder than it is here on the West Coast :) Mon Mode Blog
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen! I've been reading up on cameras, and I think I'm going to take the plunge next month. I just have no idea what to use, so I've been asking around. I also heard that the Canon Rebel T1i is quite popular too. Any thoughts? I know this isn't about fashion (really) but I would appreciate any feedback from a real person and not another article, haha
ReplyDeleteQueen of Hearts - I don't really know about the Canon but I too have heard great things about it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe its best to try both out at a camera store first? Just see which you like to handle more? most pple seem to fall into Nikon or Canon camps so it can be a brand thing too. I was/am clueless on cameras. When starting my blog I told Michael I wanted a really good camera to take really good pics and I let him do the research and he came back with the D90 so I got it as my Christmas gift to myself last year. Best investment I ever made. LMK what you decide. The lens you pick is where the camera really shines though.
Red headfashionista - lolol!!!! they are on ACNE's site now in a stunning charcoal grey ; )
WAAA i loooooveee the shoes so so so soooo freakin much. Any idea where i might get them in Germany?! :P
