I can't say my lust for platforms to wear with skinnies and long dresses isn't now satisfied. The sandals have already been worn for a night out with a sequin mini dress (forgot camera that night).

ReplyDeleteI looked at the wedges but I wouldn't be able to pull them off like you. My legs are currently on American Gladiator status, eek.
And @ someone who asked about sizing: I don't know about you Karen, but for me, I thought they ran a bit on the big side. I'm typically a 40 and ended up with two pairs of 39s. I sometimes have done 39.5 but never a 39. I guess that's just the cut of the shoe. I can't wait to post pics wearing them -- now I just need new clothes!

ReplyDeleteCindy - the platforms are my true size. I am a US 10 and wear designer Euro sizing in a 41 so that's what I need here (I know 41 mean US 11 but in my experience it really works out to US 10). The wedges are VERY VERY NARROW though and very tight. May have to get them stretched.

ReplyDeleteI got 40 in wedges and 41 in sandals. They didn't have 41 in wedges or I would have got that. I'm having them stretched width ways as they are v narrow.

At union sq, next to nothing. At Long Island, alot more esp in the sandals!! they had browns, blacks and whites in them in most sizes and in the wedges maybe about 6 or less pairs? This is as of this time last week....
OMg! I can't believe they have 41 sandals there. Any chance you'll be down there again and I can ask you to pick me up a pair (for a finder's fee?) Those are so hot!
