Shoes: Chuck Taylors (DIY studded). Shorts: DIY cut offs. Top: American Apparel. Cardigan: Topshop. Necklace: Vintage
We're on a roll here. More summer sun. Walked the dog (his name is Sir Oliver), laid on the grass and ate ice cream and an apple.
I LOVE this crop top from American Apparel. Feels old school in grey. I also love their neon version that I wore here from an older post. They do basics in such a non boring way (although it's easy to just slash a T yourself really).
I got the silver 'old coins' necklace yesterday from a vintage shop while walking around the Lower East Side.

So cute!
ReplyDeleteSir Oliver is one handsome stud!
ReplyDeletecheck me out in Barcelona at www.fashionsnag.com

ReplyDeleteahhh one last bit of summer. craving fall, but i can't help but love your crop top and cutoffs, and my favorite thing has to be that cardigan tied around your waist! so 90s grunge perfection.
ReplyDeleteAstoria park looks gorgeous!

I think the only way I could pull off the cut-off tee look is with layers....but your photos are so summery. :)

Great necklace
ReplyDeleteThis necklace is fabulous! And I would give anything for a mr softee ice cream, I miss NYC!
ReplyDeleteI have that cropped tee and I have to agree with you, it's so soft and vintage-y. Although I bought a cropped baggy tank from target (of all places!) today that has made its way straight to the top of the 'croptop bestseller list' ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and love the cropped top!
ReplyDeleteX, fashion-nerdic.

ReplyDeleteTom Tuttle - at a vintage shop. Then I studded it.
ReplyDeleteNika - usual roller set. although sometimes I get a blow out like I did in this shot. I LOVE my hair stylist who is insanely good. She finishes with a ultra wide ceramic iron.
Eternally Fixed - love that name. Thank for finding me : )
Anon - relaxed
Love that necklace!
ReplyDeleteHey Karen! When you stud your shoes... do the back of the studs (the prongs?) ever stab at your ankles or tear holes in your socks?
ReplyDeleteI want to stud my boots, but the potential pain concerns me. How horrible would it be if my tombstomb read - bloody ankles, death by studs! =)
ohh last winter i got the same cardigan from topshop but my best friend and boyfriend didn't approve saying it was gradma-ish, i exchanged it for something else and.. regreted it! now even more, it's super cute, grrrrrrr neva gonna listen to them again :-)))
ReplyDeletei have skin, hair and body envy!
