A couple of nights ago I attended the 2010 collection for fashion designer Sean William Salim held at The Yard of the Soho Grand Hotel.

The models stood on an elevated runway in his mens and womens ready to wear collection in neutral colours of black, white, wheat and red. The pieces were classic and very wearable. There's nothing like seeing emerging designers. Press coverage in attendance included Refinery29.

Those attending showed that the punk influence remains strong. Plenty of studding and fabric shredding. This contrasted with the dressier trend noted; vintage or modern brogues in various punch colours or in metallic teamed with tailored shorts or slim cuffed trousers.

I ended my birthday night with dinner at Blue Water Grill with the boyfriend.
