the mummy

Dress: Deep in Vogue. Boots: Emma Cook. Bag: DIY thrifted.
My first little white dress. I've been meaning to post this 'mummy' dress ages ago. Got it via Deep in Vogue's etsy store.
I'm so damn clumsy though, I'll probably accompany it with a vial of club soda. I did get one tip for not getting make up on the neck area when dressing after watching a Janet Jackson 'behind the scenes' video: put a clear plastic shower cap over your face, then put on the white garment, then remove the cap. It works!

    I've been talking to Deep in Vogue over the past week about buying one, it's such a hot dress! She is so amazingly talented, I love it.

    I feel kind of weird discussing her as if I know her, but um...I LOVE THAT DRESS! It looks great on you, Karen!

  30. tinklestar - they don't call the mummy for nothing: this REALLY binds when its on you. Like it holds you in like a firm elastic band. Its very well made.
